Hey guys I’m having some trouble with my Google Analytics code for Hiburrito.com and there’s no way I can fix it.

In Hiburrito we have dozens of visitors and a few hundred page views a day. Google Analytics reports that some days we have none and some days we have 2 or visits a day. This is completely wrong since my traffic analyzer and my Adsense account reports a very different data.

I retrieved the code a few months ago and paste it before the /BODY tag. The first day it worked fine but the next day it didn’t show any data. I know that there’s a 24 hour delay, so I waited another 24 hours but nothing.

I started looking for some answers but Google only gives you a limited list of causes. One of the causes was that it needed to be before the /BODY tag, but it was already there. Another could be if the website had flash or iframes which it doesn’t. So Google didn’t help me with my situation.

I kept on browsing the web and I read that I should move the code to the top before the BODY tag. It didn’t work either. Since I didn’t find any more answers on the web, I wrote my problem on the Google forum and I got a response which said that I need to move the code above every script of the header before the BODY Tag, but nothing.

In this blog I have the Analytics plugin so it works perfectly fine.

I would really appreciate if you can help me with this issue.

Thanks.
