This Week’s Top WOP: Time Travel in Movies

This week one of my associates got crazy with some movie WOPS. He’s a movie buff so he decided to create a bunch of WOPS and submit them to Reddit to see if we could get some extra votes. Amazingly Reddit Members love links about Movies, so these WOPS really got a lot of attention and votes.

The WOP that got more votes this week is about “Time Travel Movies“. I haven’t watched all these movies, but those that I’ve watched are pretty good. It was a tough decision and I was between Terminator 2, Back to the Future, 12 Monkeys and the Butterfly Effect. Since I didn’t know which one to choose, I voted for the movie that I’ve seen the most: Terminator 2.

I loved H.G.Wells growing up so I voted for The Time Machine with Rod Taylor. Back to the Future was ground breaking with a Delorean as the time machine and Hewey Lewis soundtrack. Loved them all actually, the idea of time travel is fun to think about. Where would YOU take a time machine, the past? the future?

I went with Back to the Future… as I loved that movie when it came out… but those are all great ones.

Not really big into any of those movies but I picked Terminator 2

ell, I went with one of my all-time favorites, Planet of the Apes. I’m probably one of the few living humans who has seen all of the sequels to it.

All of the movies mentioned (at least those that I have seen) are great entertainment and escape.

As far as where I would travel to: going into the past seems too dangerous. What if you accidentally changed something that canceled out your own existence? What a paradox then! So I would stick with the future.
