Ok, I’ve never done drugs in my life, but since I saw this poll in CNN, I knew that I had to create these WOPS. The poll was about Cocaine being legalized and then I thought I should ask the same question about Marihuana.
In my opinion, the World could be a crazy, chaotic place to live in if Drugs were legal. Now, aren’t we living in an already crazy and chaotic place?
It’s a simple Formula: Illegal Goods = Higher Demands = More Money = More Power
Did you know that alcohol was illegal from 1.919 to 1.933? Alcohol became an issue of wars, mafias, illegal trafficking and lot of dead people. They changed the law when they finally found out it was a very bad idea.
Do you think that the same thing could happen with drugs?
Why not? Drinking alcohol was TABU and now it´s a completely accepted social event. Yeah, drugs are a lot more unhealthy and harmful for human beings, but who doesn’t drink excessive alcohol from time to time?
I’m going to stop writing now; it’s your time to tell me what you think.

I don’t think it should be leagalized only because it is so hightly addictive that folks would lose life and limb just to get it. But they are already anyway so why not. I guess I am really on the fence about this one.
Alfredo… This is tough for me. If I didn’t have 3 kids I would say legalize them both. Being a parent I am more inclined to say don’t. I understand the pros and cons of both sides and I see both their points… so if it came to a vote… I would probably not vote either way and let everyone else decide. I wish I had a better answer.
@Ms. Freeman; @Doug Dillard I understand you both. It’s a crazy ideas, but what I’m trying to say in this post is “What if…” These are tough decisions to make, and it makes us wonder what could happen. Thank you both for leaving a comment

No. Life always loses where drugs are involved, and life is the most important thing. That’s just my opinion.
Legalize coke?, no way, I have seen what that stuff does to people, legalize mj that would be ok with me. I like a litte weed in my diet from time to time but only locally grown stuff, none of this buy from Mexico or Columbia shi*, that is illegal.
Of course NO. Drugs simply make human suffer.
I can’t bring myself to thinking Cocaine should be legal even though I understand the theory behind it. Pot, on the other hand, should be legal for adults in my opinion. I wouldn’t use either myself but that’s just because I’m a bit of a control freak.

When cities are facing huge deficits, get creative with tax and taxing marijuana is the only tax people will laugh about – after they get stoned!
If it’s legalized, I can’t imagine people going to the store saying “two sachets of marijuana please”. Definitely NO.

Hi Brian, I agree with you that cocaine shouldn’t and marijuana should. I’ve never done drugs in my life, so I wouldn’t benefit from legalizing any of them.
