I just read this poll on CNN and I would like to share it with you and know how much time do you spend on traffic every single day of the week.
Caracas is a chaotic city with a lot of people and a lot of cars. There’s also millions of motorbikes, buses, taxi cabs, etc. The worst part is that every road, street, highway, or avenue, are the same we had 20 to 30 years ago. In other words, we have 1.000 times more cars and people but with the same roads.
With all this chaos, I spend from 2 to 4 hours from Monday to Friday. My office is about 4km from my home, so you do the math.

I hate traffic, but fortunately I work at home, so I don’t have to drive anywhere too much… which is one of the reasons I like having a home business. San Diego, where I live is getting very congested with traffic though… and I do hate it when I have to go somewhere during rush hour, but that does not happen much.
How I envy you Doug, last night I spent an hour and a half on traffic going to my girlfriend’s house. This is defenitely not torable by a human being. I wouldn’t like to work at home because I would go nuts, but I dream of an office just blocks away from my house.
Traffic sucks complaining about it is one of my daily rituals.
Tell me about it. You’ve got to count yourselves lucky. Take a trip over to Nigeria and face mad traffic and plenty of bad roads on which millions of dollars have been embezzled.
Hi Udegbunam, hmmm you got me there. But imagine 4.000.000 cars on a city with roads and highways more than 30 years old.
